Purpose of Convention

The purpose of this event is to celebrate 128 Years of "Lifting As We Climb." Join us in fostering connections, strategic planning, and jubilation as we share and collect valuable insights to bring back to our fellow club members.

Who Should Attend

All national, regional, state-appointed and elected officers, delegates and other interested members. Every dues paying member is welcome to attend.

Convention Attire

NACWC’s national colors are purple and white.

-Opening Ceremony-National Colors (No Pants, Capris, or Shorts)

-All other plenary sessions, business attire, national colors.

-Memorial Service, All White Attire.

-Awards Banquet, Semi-formal.

-Sunday Worship, All White Attire..

Purpose of Convention

The 65th Biennial Convention and 130th Anniversary Celebration is a historic gathering to conduct the official business of NACWC, provide leadership development, strengthen sisterhood, and celebrate 130 years of legacy under the banner “Lifting as We Climb.”

This milestone convention will honor our foremothers, equip today’s leaders, and position our organization for continued growth, impact, and excellence.

Who Should Attend

All National, Regional, State, and Local Officers; Club Presidents and Delegates; Committee Chairs; Youth, Youth Supervisors; Collegiate and Young Adult Members; Life Members; and members in good standing are encouraged to attend.

Every member’s presence matters as we celebrate our past and shape our future together.

Convention Attire

National Colors: Purple & White

Opening Ceremony: Purple & White (No pants)

Business Sessions: Purple & White – Business Attire (Dress pants permitted)

Memorial Service: All White

Awards Banquet: Semi-Formal

Eligibility Requirements to hold a National Office: Refer to the NACWC Constitution and By-laws for specific requirements for each national office.

Eligibility Requirements for Nomination – 65th Biennial Convention

1. All nominees for office must meet the following eligibility requirements:

2. The nominee must be in good financial standing at all levels of the organization, including national, regional, state, and local.

3. The nominee must have demonstrated leadership through active participation on committees.

4. The nominee must possess the knowledge, experience, and leadership ability necessary to fulfill the duties of the office for which she is seeking election.

5. The nominee must come from a club of no less than ten (10) adult full-paying members.

6. The nominee must be active and engaged at the club, state, and regional levels of the organization.

7. The nominee shall appear before the Convention and deliver a brief speech introducing herself and stating her qualifications and reasons for seeking the office.

8. All nominees for a national office shall review the organization’s Constitution and Bylaws to ensure compliance with any additional requirements applicable to the position.

Status of Officers: All positions are open for either Election or Re-Election.
